Hi,

Any closer to the new release yet? The the term is next week and was hoping to get to grips with the new version before we start. Keep up the great work,

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for this app! I love it, and it is helping me stay more organized.

I'm a music teacher, so my needs might be a little different from a classroom teacher.

I'd like an place to work out my lesson plans by grade, rather than time block. My schedule has a different class for every block in my schedule, but I don't need a lesson plan for every block.

I'd like a separate place (that looks more like a plan book) to work out my lessons by grade level, and plan my school-wide concerts, activities and performances.

Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

Hi Bert,

Same as Martyn, just wondering if you have any updates on the new version? I know you are all working hard on it. Hoping we might have before pupils come back next week.

Thanks again for an already fantastic app.

Hello Nathan, everyone...
Our next update for iDoceo, its version 3.0 , will be available next week.
Can't be more specific about the date because it depends on Apple's final approval process, but they work 7 days a week just like us!

Hope you all like what's coming.
For the impatient ones... a screenshot
Warning: Spoiler!

With the new release coming out, would it be best for a new user to wait for the new release to import student data? Also, is there a list of features planned for the new release that we can view?

Hi CAReynolds.
You'll find here a PRELIMINARY(!) and non-exhaustive list of new features in iDoceo 3.0 .

In regard to Importing student data, the new version will process the file similarly and it won't make any significant difference.
Importing student photos on the other hand has been further improved with options to import its in bulk, based on a student field criteria (i.e. name,id , or any other). Or by using face detection techniques on a single photo of your class.

This will make assigning/importing photos a breeze... and I dare to say ... fun.
Here a short video.

I sent this in a while ago hoping it would be included.
Multi person timer. One start for everyone. Individual finishes that are recorded. Tap their face when they finish
Great for quick exercises in math class or language. Could be helpful in the gym as well

individual counters would be great from the seating plan-to be recorded or not

This is a great program.

Thanks
John
