Hi aussiele,
Could you be a bit more specific about where you're missing this?
Auto-Capitalization is set according to your iPad's defaults settings under (System)Settings / General / Keyboard

Hi,
Just wondering when you were planning on starting beta testing? Would love to be involved!

Hi DB,
The fist Beta tests began this saturday and we're working around the clock to get the official release ready long before September comes.
We have a very limited amount of available 'seats' for Beta testing, but feel free to contact us at support@idoceo.net with your device UDID (you can obtain it with app called UDID+ from) and I'll see what I can do.
Thanks

Hi, will you be adding an IPhone version of the app with the next update? I would find this very usefull when I don't have my iPad with me.
Looking forward to the new update, wish it was ready prior to the new academic year though!

Hi Simon,
The iPhone version isn't there yet. We delayed its release when the iPad mini appeared as it was a far better 'mobile option' than a cropped version for the iPhone. Lets see how this 3.0 works out, and if it proves successful we'll keep working on our roadmap.
Thanks

I am new to iDoceo and just starting to get the hang of it. Its an AWESOME app and I am recommending it to my other teachers. The one thing I would love to see is a separate place to record behavior. I've seen some apps that have a pop-up window or separate column with thumbs up/down/neutral symbol, date/time and then a place to write a description if necessary. As a music teacher with 600+ kids, it would be great to have a fast place to write down behavior situations.
The other thing that would be HUGE for me would be a way to actually add grades directly to the seating chart. I do a lot of fast observable type assessments while singing or playing music games... often I am just writing checkmarks on my paper seating charts to keep track of students who got it or are still working (EX: steadybeat). I use both a circle seating chart and rows seating chart. Currently if I want to add a checkmark or grade, I need to be in the "gradebook" view. It would be wonderful to actually be in the seating chart view and click on a student that would link to their name in the gradebook. Maybe too complicated? But it definitely would be a dream come true! I can imagine sitting in a circle playing a game and having my iPad in my lap with the seating chart and just tapping on student's pictures (similar to taking attendance).
Thanks again for all the hardwork. Its awesome!

I am also a music teacher and I have been looking for a program with the "grade from seating chart" functionality! Both assessment and behavior. As a music teacher, number of clicks is a big issue!

Welcome @Amber,@CAReynolds,
For behaviour, you can actually configure a custom editor, which is the fastest way to insert a small selection of icons (you'v got thumbs up and down) into a cell. I'll prepare an article explaining this custom editors soon.
Additionally if you tap&hold on any cell you'll be able to add annotations. Here an article explaining it in detail .
Regarding your other request about the seating plan, you can do that already! You'll be able to add columns and and grade students as if you were in the gradebook.
Here the article explaining it www.idoceo.net/index.php/en/component/co...g-plan-main-features

Thanks, Bert. It got it to work, but it seems to take a few taps to get it to work for each student.
also, what I would really like is an option like "Attend All"', where you can set a default grade, give the button a name, such as "participation" which would populate the default grade for the entire class and then you only have to click on the few students who were exceptions.m. It would really speed up the process, particularly for those of us whi have to assess on the fly.

Hi CAReynolds,
It should be a double tap on a cell to begin editing, and just a single tap to select the right icons.
Regarding the 'populate' option you need, here a short video showing how to do it! Hope that helps.
