App crash following update when importing (solved) was created by DrNick
Updated to new version on iPad. Tried uploading CSVs using both methods from Dropbox. Class appears on blackboard but tapping on it causes app to crash. Have reinstalled and same problem - any suggestions?

Hi DrNick,
Sorry to hear that, let us give it a look. would you mind sending me that CSV at support@idoceo.net?
Did you try the sample CSV file in the instructions? Did that work?
You should only use the Dropbox procedure, from the Dropbox app, that has been thoroughly tested and will eventually supersede the old one.
Thanks

Can't send you the full file as it contains confidential data on students so thought I'd get rid of most of the data except the column headings before I sent it. Tried to upload the amended file just on the off-chance and it's uploaded perfectly. Could there be something in the data which is causing the crash that I need to get rid of??

Hi DrNick,
It's weird, maybe some apostrophe or a strange character in the CSV file? If you are exporting from an Excel file , numbers or any other source, try to export using UTF8 encoding ,it isn't always available but you should give it a try.
Is it by any chance a large file with more than a hundred students or columns?

OK think I've found the problem. At the bottom of the list of student names and data were some cells containing other info - if I remove these before uploading then there's no problem and everything works perfectly. I will send you a file that crashes the app just so you can check it out as the data which causes the problem is not confidential. Thanks for the suggestions.
