Google back up fails

We got new iPads this year. I've just set it up for the new school year and connected it to my Google Account, but it says "back up failed" every time I try to back it up. I have disconnected and reconnected. I have shut down the iPad and tried again. I have tried a different google account. No luck. What else can I try?

Can anyone help? I still can’t get it to work. I even tried connecting to Microsoft since Google wasn’t working.

Make sure you have enough space available and that you can create folders.
If all seems ok use the 'To other locations' option to store your backup (Settings > Backup/Restore > Backup > To other locations)
