Linking attendance column to assessment column was created by hrmony17
Is there a way to link an attendance column to an assessment column? When I am filling out an assessment column and choose the option to copy a grade to the remaining empty cells, I would like it to leave the cells of students absent that day empty (makes grading go much faster). I have made sure my assessment column has the same date as my attendance column for that day. Is there a step I'm missing to link the two? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello hrmony17,
Empty cells are automatically considered as absent students and they will not be taken into account when grading.
If you are working with the 'Average' calculation, make sure you enable the 'Skip empty cell' option. The rest of calculations should work like that by default.
If still can't sort it out let me know let me know. A screenshot would help!
