Appending Data - Students Repeated was created by Ali
I have used the import wizard to import my classes. Now, when I try to append data using the same Name and Last Name, iDoceo creates an extra line for each student in the grade book. How can I make it recognise the students already there and add the new data to the correct row?

It shouldn't happen Ali, if there is any chance, please send us the file (support@idoceo.net) you are working with and we will try to reproduce it on our side.

What I want to know is the correct procedure to use. Import wizard or not?

Both methods, with the wizard or without it will probably behave the same

You should make sure that there are no erased students in that class since this may trick the import wizard.
From the Recycle option (on the main screen's ruler) > Students > Erase All
You will the be able to append data and it won't create new students

Hi Bert,
I am having the same problem and have checked and double checked that the student names in the XLS spreadsheet match those existing in the idoceo class. Any tips on resolving this?
Thanks
Georgie

Hello Georgie,
Have you checked the Recycle button (on the main screen's ruler) > Students?
Make sure you Erase All before appending data
