Moving columns

Have just started using idoceo and it's brilliant, however sometimes when I assign a column a colour all the columns with colour move together. How can I stop this happening?
I want columns to stay in a particular order. I know how to re-order the columns, but I don't want to have to do this every time I create a new column and give it a background colour.

This should not happen at all
I'm not sure how to reproduce the issue on our side, if you can post some additional tips, do not hesitate to post.
