Same class, students rotate

I have a class where the students in it are taught every other week and then rotate every 10 weeks. The class doesn't change (it has the same name and is for the same subject). It is just the students within the class that change. Can I rotate groups of students within a class or do I just have to create a new class after the group has rotated?

It depends on why you would like to keep the same class despite changing its students.

If it has to do with being able to keep the schedule and planner intact, then you will need to hide(or erase) the previous students in order to add the new ones. You can even create different tabs in the same class and show a particular group on each.

If you are not worried about the planner or schedule I'd strongly recommend creating a new class for each group It will be easier to configure the seating, create reports or send e-mails.
