The IDOCO program will not stay open? was created by John2400
Hi I click on the software icon and it opens for 1 second and closes to the Ipad screen icon page. I open any other application and they work perfectly?
* What happened before - Not dropped, not heat , no other downloads of applications.
* Battery was at 37% at the time but other icons work.
* Battery at 90% now and still the same thing.
* Really the issue is the software will not open and stay open?

That's weird John.
You should try resetting your iPad by pressing both the Home&Top buttons for a few seconds.
Have you backed up your data? If you have, the easiest thing to do would be to restore a backup.
And the last thing to do, if you do not have a backup:
When you have a chance, connect your iPad to iTunes, and do a Backup in your Computer. Make sure you Disable the option to Encrypt local backup
Once you have done this backup, download this app here , look for iDoceo in the list, save all your files (enable the keep files structure) option. Make a zip and send it to me at support@idoceo.net

Would you have any inconvenient in sending me that backup?
There is something wrong, but can't figure out what is it.

Ok I can see the reason as I have to set to full mode . Is that right.
However even with the restore - from yesterdays backup? It does not contain all the data from several days ago- eg. kids you can see in some dates of attendance are wrong. Columns of attendance are empty.
Backup was not perfect -

Just a small note . I appreciate your quick replies as I have had some success in saving most of my material quickly.
I do notice that when I now try to generate a new quick attendance chck column it no longer takes on the qualities of the previous column.
I had mine set a certain size and green in colour.
When I hold o add a quick attendance check it gives me a shorter column and it has no colour. I have reset this several times.

all resolved - just resetting some things - all good - I believe that some attendance did not hold due to my original problem starting soon after my attempt to back up. So anyone following or reading - it did eventually restore - but that is due to my back up- maybe there should be an automatic time back up - one could set. say twice a day only - and a reminder to say that your box is almost full?
