Sharing timetables was created by Alowe
My teaching partner and I would like to be able to share our timetable between our ipads. is this possible with idoceo? We are currently teaching our own year 3 class but in a double teaching space so we always have the same timetable. Instead of inserting our own individual timetables it would be easier if one of us could make the timetable and somehow import it into the other. This may be a silly question but I am only new to idoceo.

Thanks

Hi Alowe,

It is not possible at the moment . Basically because each class in the timetable is linked to a class in iDoceo's blackboard. Sharing the timetable would mean that both iDoceo's (yours and your partner's) share the same classes too (with exactly the same name). I'm guessing it is your specific case but it doesn't happen that often!

We are improving the way in which you'll create a timetable for our next major release 2.5 , it will be faster and less tedious (yes, we know...)

As an alternative method, you could always create your timetable and its classes, and then share a complete backup with your partner. Then he'd need to restore your backup and he'd have the same info (though he'd loose his own at that moment, so be careful with this)

If you need any help with this last option or any other , let us know

Cheers
