Student email column

Hi, I have imported a CSV file containing email addresses. When I try to email a test column to my class only the first person gets the email. I set up a trial class and entered some emails by hand and the email column to students then worked. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with my set up?

Hi SM,
There is nothing wrong with your setup!
It is a "small" bug we found just yesterday. If the column you're trying to send an e-mail from is the last one , it will only send it for the first student.
Solution: Simply add an empty column at the end or any other kind of column and it will work properly for the rest of the gradebook.
We'll solve that in our next update.

Hi Bert, thanks for the suggestion. I have now added a column to the right and it still only emails the first pupil. Have you any other ideas.

Hi Sarah, that should be the solution...

Did you check that the e-mails are properly imported?

If for example it does not contain a @ sign or has some special character it will probably skip those e-mails.
If there is any chance that you can send me a backup file I can give it thorough look and solve it for sure...

A small test you should try, tap on the second or third student and see if you have the e-mail option, try to send it to see if it opens the usual 'compose e-mail' window.

When I tap on the student an email option is available and the usual email box comes up. I also seem to be able to email the whole group using the top left square, so I don't think there is any problem with the email addresses.
The information is confidential and it is not possible to send you the information I currently have. I might be able to alter the system using trial data which I import in the same way.
