Linked columns - Summary Calculation was created by Mathsbuzz
Hi,
I have 3 tabs within the gradebook of Year 7 class for 3 different groups for their assessment marks. I have students hidden in the tabs so that each tab shows just one group but if I un-hide, I can see all the students. My issue is that if I update the marks for students in 2nd or 3rd tab, the summary calculation column doesn't update in 2nd or 3rd tab unless I un-hide the students on main tab. After that I can hide them again and still see the updated values in the summary column but this is tedious. Could you please look into this?
Thanks in advance
Kind regards

Hello,
If your students are hidden you should use a formula instead, referring to the original columns, no need to use linked columns
The formula will update automatically.
