Standards, skills and rubrics was created by Nenuial
Are there any tutorials or examples of how those functions can be used? I would love to see some examples. I am currently playing around with it but its cumbersome to find out what does what and how it can fit together. Real world applications would be welcome.

Hello Nenuial,
I'm afraid we do not have those tutorials yet. Each country has its own requirements and often keep changing so standards and key skills features are still being improved with our users requests.

Thank you for your answer. I think some form of "examples" would be really helpful to be able to think "oh yes that could be an option for me". Especially the link between skills and standards is not really clear for me yet.

You may work with skills and/or standards without any link between them. It is a particular requirement in some countries but may be of no use in yours.
Only skills:
- Add them in main screen > Settings > Key skills
- Enable them in your gradebook > Three dots top right corner > Key skills
- Assign them at will to columns or rubrics
- You will see the results in Summary > Widgets > Key skills
Only standards:
- In a similar way as skills: Settings > Standards, add yours
- Enable them in your gradebook > Three dots top right corner > Standards
- Assign them to columns
You may:
- Assign both skills and standards manually to columns/rubrics without any link between them
- or when configuring your standards you can assign a particular combination of key skills to each one. When this standard is applied to a column, the selected combination of key skills will be added as well.

I’m starting to get the hang of it!
I would have one request. If it were possible to sort the standards that would be great. I have tried with different codes to get them in the order I want, but with no success.

I’m trying trying to use the Multiple columns > Key skills calculation and have a question/remark regarding how this works. I try to get columns for each of my skills but instead what I get are columns for every standard within the skills (similar to what I get with the Standards - calculation). Is there a way for me to generate columns that reflect what I can get in the Skills widget and how ?

The multiple columns > Key skills - calculation will create an average calculation with all the columns in the gradebook that belong to this particular key skill, similar to the widget.
The widget takes all key skills and performs this calculation while the Key skills - calculation does the average for one skill at a time.

Not sure I get it.
Let’s say I have two key skills.
Each key skill is linked to a number of standards in my case. In the different evaluations I linked those the column to one or more standards.
Now in the Key skill widget I have those skills with an average. Which is great. I want a column (formula) that does the same so the I can put it into a student report.
The Key skills - calculation generates columns where the title of the column is a standard and not the skill.

On the key skills widget > tap on any cell below a particular key skill and you will see the composition of that average. That will match what you see on the multiple columns - Key skill calculation

Ok, so basically if I want the same "view" as the skill widget with one column per skill, I have to recreate the averages based on the columns generated by the Key skill calculation.
So my request would be :
It would be a great feature if in the Multiple columns there was a way to generate columns that reflect what you see in the skills widget: one column per skill!
