We're excited to announce that we've just released a new update for iDoceo that includes Moodle integration!

With this new feature, you can link iDoceo with up to 10 Moodle servers, and even link each class to Moodle, MSTeams, or Google Classroom at the same time

One of the best parts of this update is that you can now download results, manual tasks, or overall calculations with ease.
Plus, with tasks, iDoceo can download resources published in Moodle, and we can even publish our iDoceo tasks into Moodle!

To enable your server, go to Settings > Cloud links > Moodle.
You can link your current iDoceo classes with a Moodle course under Tools > Class > Links,
or create a new one under List of classes > Add > Moodle.

We're also excited to share that the update includes new COUNTBLANK and NMAX formula functions, additional icons, and a feature that lets you show your favorite columns first in the add columns list under Settings > Gradebook.

We are eager to hear your feedback on this new feature!

I'm wondering if iDoceo will send Annotations as comments on assessment tasks?
Does iDoceo support weighting the grade book in Moodle?
Does iDoceo support translating A-F scores to grades in Moodle?

Thanks

Hello duplenty,
We are limited by the options that Moodle offers which are not many. Just take a look
at what the official Moodle app (not the web version) does at the moment.
We will keep working on this on our next versions.
If you miss anything else, do let me know

I only want to say THANK YOU.

As far as I tested Moodle integration, it worked great :-)

I haven't tested the integration, but I did make a seamless link to my classes. Thank you for offering this as we're constrained to use Moodle here. Their grade book is awful.

Very glad you liked it tomka, grhafer30
If you miss anything in this integration do let me know. We are constrained as well by what Moodle can do from their own app but your feedback is welcome.

For the rest of users, if your Moodle server works with SAML authentication, iDoceo won't be able to link yet.
iDoceo only supports user/password and CAS in this 8.7.1 version
If you have a chance to prepare a fake/sample account in SAML do let me know and I'll work on it.

Hi, thanks for the implementation.
Unfortunately logging via a central login page for many applications and it doesn't work for me (opens the moodle account in a window on my ipad but... nothing happens and I'm unable to get any connexion... probably SAML ...
will you implement that?
Thanks for your commitment :-)
Pierre

Hi Pierre,
Your Moodle server may be using SAML authentication (see post above)
We are still looking for a sample account to develop that kind connection.
If you let me know the URL of the server I can confirm this

Yes, it's SAML. Hopefully someone will provide a sample acccount soon!
