new student to class

Hi, I am brand new to this app so please be patient with me. I have been able to put in my classes and they show up in the seating plan -so far so good. But today a new student registered so I added her to the class list. Her name is not showing up in the seating plan section. Did I miss a step?
any advice is welcome,

She was! Poor girl. And I figured out that I had "hidden" another new student. Lots to learn but I think I am going to like this App. Thanks for your reply,

Martine, I'm not sure if you did it like that already but In the seating plan theTools (top bar) > Show hidden students will reveal those hidden students automagically
