Copy to all columns and spreadsheet was created by Casie Chalman
HI Bert,
Is there an option to copy to ALL Columns in the entire spreadsheet? I need access to copy icons and text to 20 or so columns at once and at present I can only figure out how to copy icons and text to one column at a time.
I hope this makes sense. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks
Casie Chalman

Hi Casie,
If your columns are already created and the Topbar/Tools/Columns/Copy isn't an option (this would copy your columns and its contents to the tab of your choice).
Then the only way to do this is to:
- Fill the first row of your columns. With tap&hold on the original cell / Copy / copy text&icons then double tap on the first cells
- Tap&hold on the first cell of each column and then Copy / Copy to all column
Hope this helps!

Thanks Bert,
Yes that's what I have been doing... Its okay- just takes a little longer than copying to the whole spreadsheet.
Thanks for the reply

Hi Bert,
I have tried the tools/columns/copy process but it only copies the column headings across but none of my data.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Are you trying to copy columns across different classes?
It will only include data as long as you've got the same students (or at least a group of them) on both classes

Thanks Bert,
I'm trying to copy data I have imported. They are the same students but when the data imports it sets up as a seperate spreadsheet/class.

Yes, if you import from Dropbox it will create new class each time.
This is what you have to do instead:
Move the file you're trying to import into the Apps/iDoceo folder in Drobpox.
Now , from iDoceo's chalkboard screen tap&hold on the class you're trying to append info to, and then Import
You'll now be able to select the file to import and instead of creating a new class, it will add that info to the previously selected one.
