Love the app, moving to it from Teacher Pal. Is there anyway to include email to individual students and/or groups of students from the class lists?

We had in mind sending emails to individual students or the whole list from the gradebook, but I like the idea of sending it from the class list too, not sure if we'll be on time to be able to select a specific student group in this very next release, we'll do our best.

Uhm, I think I got you wrong here, with the class list, you meant the grid view with columns and students? It is scheduled like this for 2.0 , hope you'll like it!

I think the app would be enhanced if there was the option to email students or parents. Is this going to be in the upgrade?

Yes, you'll be able to send emails in the upgrade amongst other interesting things, you can find a non exhaustive list of what's coming here (we're keeping a few surprises with the update).
