Better student drilldown was created by Kippen
I teach elementary school (all subjects). I would love to see an option where after you set up a class, you can set up multiple subjects, and then have different categories of assignments within each subject. I would also like to see those categories be able to have different grading systems (ie icons for homework, numerical grades for tests) and then have each category automatically be a percentage of the total grade. Is this possible?
Also, can there be a missed assignments report that can be emailed directly to the student?
Thanks!

Hi Kippen,
With the current release, you are only able to mix text&numerical grades, but the icon grading is on its way (it probably won't be ready for this upcoming release, but for the next one 1.9).
What you ask for is possible , but you will not see the 'category' above each subject (you could add it as a subheader text though), you simply add the columns, and when you create the calculation column for its, you select which columns belong to each category.
You can nest calculations and obtain a final total of all categories.
About the missed assignments, we're working on the email notifications already, I'll see what we can do about on the upcoming release.
Thanks for contacting us, if you need further assistance with the configuration or got more requirements, please let us know, we'll be glad to help.

We'll improve it on a future release!
