Marking off students who had a turn was created by msmusic711
I am an elementary general music teacher and I see some of my classes once a week, some twice a week and 1 class 3 times a week. I need to keep track of which kids had a turn at the instruments, Smartboard, or game so that I can pick up where I left off in the next class. I need to be in seating plan view so I can see their pictures and the placement of their teams. Is there a way to check off students in seating plan view?

Welcome msmusic711,
I guess you have seen the dice feature already and the small dice added automatically to those students that have been picked.
You can check off students in the seating plan view in many ways but here is my suggestion:
- From the grade book view add three columns: Instruments , Smartboard, Game (or only one if you do not need to keep track of each separate turn). Select the YES/NO as its editor.
- Now from the seating plan view you will be able to work with these columns, find attached below the images.
With a double tap on a student you will add the YES and with an additional double tap a NO
A tap and hold will bring additional options .

Thanks. I didn't know about the double tap feature. That will be very helpful!
