How to display more than one piece of data on plan

I only seem to be able to display one piece of data on the seating plan. I would like to be able to display data I have on my class list, but seem to be able to only choose one. The view that is similar to an index card does not seem to let me choose fields from the list either. Am I missing something?

Yes, I think you're missing the small icon that appears when in 'badge mode'.
