How to add icons was created by tj007
I would like to be able to add icons like the telephone / notebook / star etc. in the grade book view, as seen in the Biology example class.
I can't find the option to add these though. I've checked the 'how to' section and couldn't see them mentioned.

Hi tj007,
That depends on the kind of 'editor' you're using for a column.
- Double tap on a column's header
- Go to Editor and look for Text with icons
- Save
And now double tap on any cell on that column, you should be able to select the icons you're looking for!

I'm looking at the 'Biology Sample 101' class and the column is set up as a grade selector. How did the icons get there?

There are other ways to put icons in cells, for instance,
you can change the editor of a column at any time and you will not lose the column's content, with this I mean that you can set it to Text and Icons and later on to grade selector or any other choice.
An alternative method you might like is with COPY , tap&hold on a cell that has the icons you want and select COPY , then COPY ICONS
Now with double tap you'll add icons anywhere without changing the columns editor. This might probe faster but requires to have the icons on screen first.
You can cancel the copy function and go back to standard double tap mode with a small icon on right top corner (has a box and an X in it)
