I am reviewing my setup before the next round of classes.

Is deleted-item recovery part of the new undo screen? I deleted the wrong student once and still have nightmares.

It would help me keep the workflow in one place instead of checking several screens.

Yes. The new history provides access to recovery of deleted items, including student and column deletions where supported.
