Annotating a resource attached to a student ?

Hi,

Is there a way to annotate a document, directly on the document, with the pencil for example ?

I have IEPs attached to each student in .doc format and ideally I could annotate these during the year, cross off lines, write new targets with the Pencil, etc...and the annotations would be saved.
Is this possible ?

Also, can the Pencil be used to make annotations in the Notepad or can I only type text?

Hello Julie,
The pencil can be used in the Notepad, in the pencil - blue- tab
DOC files can't be annotated with a Pencil, it should be an image, a PNG or a JPG instead.
