macOS version

Hi guys,

I have a two fold problem I'm hoping someone can help wth. After the latest update my Mac app will not open. It opens and immediately closes, telling me it's crashed. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, and it's still not working. I'll include the error log at the bottom of this post to see if anyone can makes sense of it. I can however open my files on both my iPad Pro and my iPhone

Secondly and more importantly - I can not make the "automatic backup" function work. When I select auto back up to Dropbox (as I've used for forever) it refuses to stay selected. I have only just realised it hasn't backed up since April. I've now done a manual back up, but this isn't a good solution going as I'm likely to forget and then not have a relevant back up. I'll attach screenshots so you can see what I mean.

 When you mention the latest update, are you referring to macOS? 
 Which version of macOS is the one you have updated to?
