Prevent Google Classroom icon when Syncing

Hello, every time a sync a class the program adds a google classroom icon to each student. I then remove the icons but when I sync again, they are added back. Is there a way to prevent these icons from being added every time?

I'm afraid not. They are important to know that the student has been linked.
I'll keep it in mind though, maybe as an option in the future.
