new ipad doesn't recognize google drive data was created by bryn.scamahorn
I had an old ipad that finally died. I managed to upload back up data to google drive before it kicked the bucket. I purchased a new ipad, and now, iDoceo won't find the old backups as a restore item. I can see them in drive. Yet, when I try to restore through the settings in iDoceo, it doesn't even show up.
I've tried going into Google Drive and opening the item with iDoceo through drive, but then iDoceo send me the message that I have to upload it through the restore feature in the app.
Help! I have all year's worth of data, test scores, choir lists, everything in there including all my data for my evaluation! I'm sunk. I don't know what to do. I've just spent about 3 hours in tears trying every work around I could think of.
I should say that I had to change my email address for my apple id, because it couldn't authorize that email address for some unknown reason. Sometimes I hate apple.

Hello,
Make sure you are using the most recent version of iDoceo, 4.10.7
and then from Settings > Google Drive > Restore you should see the backup file.
If still can't sort it out send us a couple of screenshots to support@idoceo.net
