Inserting a period

I've been successfully using the app for a term, using periods 1-7. I now need to insert a period during lunchtime. I need to keep the original 1 to 7 numbering for periods and need a slot called LT. I can do this in the schedule, but the planner has this added slot at the end of the day, not between periods 5 and 6, where I need it.

Can you suggest how this can be done.

The order of the rows in the planner only depend on the Period assigned to each slot, it does not take into account its start/end times.
If you'd like the LT slot to be added between 5 and 6 , you will have to change the classes assigned to periods 6-7 to 7-8 and assign the LT to period 6.
In order to rename those periods to reflect your actual numbering: Tap on Tools (on the ruler) > Planner
