Excusing students from assignments was created by Askidmore
I have been searching the forums and I can't find a recent answer to this question:
I want to excuse a student from an assignment and not have it count for or against them in the marking period calculation when using a coefficient. I want to just use ABS as the code.
Any easy ways? I'm sure it will be a "duh" moment!
Thanks!

Hello Askidmore,
If you leave the cell empty it won't be taken into account in calculations.
Whenever you add a text or an icon into the cell it will then count. If leaving a cell empty is not an option you have to select an icon that will behave as an 'empty cell icon'.
In iDoceo's main screen > Gear icon top bar > Empty cell icons you can choose which icons to use
