Weighted Averages

I am having an issue calculating a weighted average for my gradebook feature. I have been inputting grades into my gradebook, but each assignments carries a different weight: tests are 40%, class/homework 25%, notebook 35%. As of now, I do not have any notebook grades, but I do have multiple test & class grades. I want all of my test grades to be averaged in the 40% category and all of my class/homework to be averaged as 25% of their grade. I have tried a number of different ways to accomplish this, but my averages do not seem to come out right.

Can anyone help me?
