Calculations: Using the rank feature

What is it?

It is a calculation column that will show the class rank for each student.
It is configured as a conventional calculation in which you select a single column to take into account.

I'd like to sort my students by a specific column's result, is this the way to do it?

You could do this with a ranking column but there's a faster method: Tap&hold on the students header > Sort > Column.

A step by step

After adding the calculation you will be able to select which column to take into account. Below is an image.


In our example we choose to rank by Average, from highest to lowest.
