A couple of ideas

1 - Would it be possible to beef up the student annotations feature to allow logging of phone calls home/ parents evenings where dates are automatically logged or where we can add more than one section like actions to be taken.

2 - If I read the forum right, you're planning on adding a lesson plan template and homework setting features. Would it be possible to have custom sections of the lesson plans and also to be able to generate reports based on these, e.g. All homework set this week or for a class over a set time. Another example would be a lesson plan section report for the week. Very useful for science teachers wanting to requisition practical equipment!

3 - A GIGANTIC ask, but any chance in being able to communicate with other education services, e.g., class-charts, I-am-learning, SIMS etc. something akin to what fitness apps can do.

1. Yup, we will keep working on those annotations. As a possible workaround, you can add those annotations as annotations in an attendance cell (tap and hold on a cell > Bubble icon) and you will see all those annotations in the student annotations sheet. More details here

2. Yes, those sections and the homework settings are in our plans. Can't say when it will be ready though.

3. This one is really complex since (unlike fitness apps) there isn't a standard communication protocol between all those platforms. We have some third party integrations in the works but apparently, SIMS would charge both the school and us for that integration. This is unacceptable at the moment.
