Import CSV into new tab was created by clareburnett
Is it possible to import a spreadsheet of new information( each tracking period) into a separate tab in a class. The students are the same but there are lots of columns of data and I want to keep it separate from the other class columns but v easy to access.

Hi Clare,
Yes, it is possible. But you must make sure that the spreadseet students have exactly the same names or you may duplicate some of your current class' names. You should backup first, so you can get everything back to normal in case something goes wrong.

Here it goes:
- First: the spreadsheet you're trying to import must be stored in your Dropbox account under the Apps/iDoceo folder
- From iDoceo's main chalkboard screen , tap&hold over the class you wish to import this data to.
- Select import and browse for the file you stored in the first step in Apps/iDoceo

This will create a new tab with the spreadsheet's content in the selected class.

I'm afraid not. The process has to be started from the main screen , and I'm guessing that your spreadsheet is imported as a resource instead.
You can send back a resource to Dropbox if you tap&hold on it.

Here a couple of screenshots to illustrate what I mean with the main screen options
