Seating plan

I wonder whether there are plans to allow for a default seating plan for multiple classes. I have multiple classes in the same room with the same configuration, so it would be a major time-saver to set up the desks once (in a master layout) and then rearrange names for individual classes.

Before discovering this wonderful, all-in-one app, I was using something called Smart Seat. I liked that app very much, but it was limited. Two things that it did, which iDoceo could benefit from, are: moving students was smooth and involved switching names, not desks (which can be more clumsy), and there was the option to reverse perspective so one could project the seating chart on the board for students to see. It would be wonderful to see these features in a future release of iDoceo.

This is a fabulous app, and I look forward to following its evolution.

We didn't think of that reverse perspective, I'm sure it will be useful to other teachers as well, noted.
Regarding the other question, you're not the first to ask for that option to share the same configuration across classes, I've just set a higher priority on that request.

We're now preparing a minor update for iDoceo and we probably won't have time to add these options but count on it for our next major release.
