Hi,
I don't understand how penalty points count in iDoceo connect.
Let the question be e.g. "What is the result of 5-3"?
Let the options be
a) 2
b) 1+1
c) 123
d) 456
e) 789
So, a and b are true, the are ones are false.
The idea is that a correctly chosen or not chosen option is worth 1 point. Every incorrectly chosen option counts -1 point. I set point of this question to 5 and "default penalty points" in the options tab to -1.
So, the results should bei e.g.:
a, b -> 5 points
a, b, c -> 3 points
a, b, c, d -> 0 points
a, b, c, d, e -> 0 points (calculation gives -1, but no negative results should be allowed)
a, c -> 1 point
I tried setting the penalty points to -1, but that didn't work.
a and b gives me 5 points, all the are combinations result to 0 points.
How can I achieve the desired evaluation?
Kind regards, Tom

Thank you for your answer. I'm looking forward to those improvements.
Until then, single choice questions are useful, but multiple choice doesn't work for me. In the example above students would still get 3 points if they just choose everything.
