Random picker voice was created by headandheart
I can’t get the random picker to read out the names, even when the speaker icon says it’s on. Is there a setting I’ve missed somewhere? Or is it my iPad?

Make sure the volume is on and in Settings (Gear icon) > Language make sure English is set.
You should also try restarting your iPad
