Copying a column of data from one sheet to another was created by CBuckley
I was wondering if it's possible to copy a column of data across from one sheet to another within the same gradebook? I set up a lovely page for all my writing data and thought the easiest way (other than filling it in manually) would be to download my markbook from iSams and import it from excel. The problem is now though that I have 2 separate sheets and can't figure out how to use the sheet I set up with the sheet containing data I've imported. I'd rather not modify the imported data to match the sheet I want to use as it took me a while to set it up that way. I hope that's clear?

Erm so I've figured it out I think - I copied over one column from the imported markbook to the sheet I created. I then merged those 2 columns. This seemed to do what I wanted to but it'd be great to get confirmation that it's the correct way to go about it.
This is the 2nd time I've posted and then worked something out - sorry!

It is ok CBuckley,
Here is an alternative copy/paste method. Can't say it is faster than yours though
