Highlight Empty Cells

Is there a way to automatically highlight the cells in a column for students who have no mark recorded? This would be handy to quickly draw attention to students who have not submitted work.

There isn't an easy combination to do that yet but I've just added your request to the list. It makes a lot of sense.

Here is a long winded alternative if you are confident with formulas and you do not have to this very often.
The first part: COLORCELL ( 0, TEST1) removes the current color of a cell if there was any
The second part does the actual job. Checks if cell is empty and applies a color.
