Sharing grade templates was created by Emilie
Hi Bert,

I was trying to share my grade template with other teachers for an INSET I'm running on how to set up grades and calculations, etc. but I can't seem to be able to do that :(

Is there a way to do this or do I just need to ask them to do their own in preparation for the meeting?

Thank you for your help,

Emilie

Hello Emilie,
If you only want to share a grades, here are the steps:

- Create a new class without students

- Add a column for each grade type you'd like to share, make sure the 'Grade type' is set so that iDoceo knows what you'd like to include in the template.

- Now tap on Export > Share > Current tab

You will now be able to send that template by e-mail or store it in send by e-mail or store it somewhere else.

In order to import it into another iDoceo, tap on the file (from a mail or any other app) and 'Open in' iDoceo

Ah ok, so you actually have like a blank class with columns containing the various grades you want to share and the grade system gets exported with the class when you share it.
Does the grade system then stay in the other iDoceo user's grade sheet?

That is fantastic! Glad I asked it will make my work so much easier :P Thank you!

Yes that's it.
When importing that template iDoceo will add the missing grade types to the user's grade sheet.
You can delete that new class afterwards.
