I noticed this while moving between the planner and my class records.

If I edit an imported Connect note locally, does that edit go back online automatically?

It would help me keep the workflow in one place instead of checking several screens.

No. Imported items are local copies. Later edits to those copies are not automatically sent back to Connect.
