iDoceo Connect - peer assessment groups was created by brettm
I would like my students to complete a peer assessment in their science groups. My current group setup is for their English group and their science group is a different set of kids.
Can I assign them to more than one group or adjust this in iDoceo Connect so that I can pick the kids that are in their group please?
My thanks,
Brett

Hello Brett,
You can only assign a single group per student.
If you are up for it, in the 'Groups' section, when creating a peer-assessment task, you can manually pick which students will evaluate each other. It isn't very useful if you have many students.

Bert,
I saw the ability to select students. Unfortunately, I could not pick a student outside of their 'group'.
This is fine I expect for high school where you are more likely to have one group per class. In Primary school though, I have Reading Groups, Maths Groups, Science Groups etc with the one class.
How about a 'class' group and I manually pick who a student gives feedback to? Not perfect, but creates a solution.
Thank you!

Yes, a single group for the whole class would let you pick students individually and the 'group' restriction would not apply.

Bert,
I use the group feature everyday and so having an option to create your own groups or simply have the class as an option would be great.
Thanks!
