archiving a single student from a class

I know you can archive a whole class but Is it possible to archive a single student from a class so they do not appear in the current list but their results/data is not lost. My classes roll over from year to year and I build a record that covers 4 years - the occasional student leaves the class but I do not want to delete them and lose all of their collected information.

Sorry folks - didn't investigate properly - used the 'hide student' function and it did the trick - all good.
