Locking classes? was created by Englehardt
I tried locking a lesson. The lock icon showed up as anticipated. But later I copied a lesson from a different class into the locked one and it deleted all the original text that I thought I locked. I assumed it would add the copied text into the locked class. Is there a way to do this?
Also just wanted to say that I only started using this app last week, but already think it's great!

Welcome Englehardt,
The lock function is meant for keeping that particular lesson in place whenever you bump/yank lessons around.
There is a short article here that explains the different possibilities

Your assumption makes sense though! it is tricky to implement but we'll keep it in mind.
