Combined Class - best practice was created by jaduff
Hi,

I have two simultaneous classes. They are different year groups, but in the same room, at the same time, with me as the teacher. And obviously, have different assessments, etc.
What is the best way to set up iDoceo to handle this scenario?
I tried creating two classes scheduled at the same time, but they overlapped on the schedule, which made using it difficult.
At this point, I've created a single class with all the kids in it, then created separate tabs for each class.
Is there a better way of handling this?

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay James,
I think the best approach at the moment is what you did already.
Additionally, you may want to hide a particular group on specific tab (Tools > Students > Select > Hide). This setting will only affect the current tab and it may help in keeping track of the different assessments.
You may want to give a look at the Students filter on top to focus on a particular group. You will find additional details here
