Five Day Cycle was created by silvermorning
Hey there,
Just downloaded 3.0 and can't seem to figure out how to implement a five day cycle in the schedule. I'd also like to be able to enter holidays. I'm using the full version. Thanks.

Hi silvermorning,
You should configure it from the calendar button. Did you give a look at the tutorial in that option?
We'll add some video tutorials soon!

By the way, the five day cycle does really rotate? or monday always has the same classes?
Let me know and I'll explain in detail

The five day cycle we're on does rotate. For example, today's Thursday and we're on day 3 of our five day cycle. Can I use numbers instead of days of the week in the schedule? You used to be able to do that in the older version (though you couldn't enter a cycle).

Yes, you can still do that with numbers instead of week days but you need to switch to Compact mode (from main screen settings/ working mode). If that works for you, no need to fill the calendar and you can avoid the complexity of the calendar, but no holidays then.
Meanwhile, we'll prepare a video tutorial for those cycles you need, in case you'd like to switch later on

Yes, you can still do that.
Once in compact mode, tap on the small gear next to the weekdays.
Here the option you're looking for (it will only appear when compact mode is enabled)

Thanks! One last thing (hopefully),
Holidays aren't counted as days in our cycle. Will the your calendar compact/full recognize this? I tried it in the full version and it didn't seem to. I don't want a holiday recognized as a day in our cycle.

Yes, the calendar in full-size mode will recognize holidays and will repeat your cycle accordingly.
The important step here is that holidays must be configured first, so that when you copy your cycle for the rest of the term/year it properly skips holidays.
I know a video tutorial on this will be worth more than a thousand words at 24fps.
Working on it!

Hey Bert,

I can't seem to get my five day cycle to repeat in calendar mode after I've entered holidays.
