Changing individuals' classes and copying records? was created by j.jones1812
Hi!
I have a number of students who have changed classes and I want to move them (AND their grades and records).
Copying the sudent to the new class doesn't allow me to bring that pupil's acheivements, grades, etc.
Is there a way of doing this quickly?
Thanks!

I'd also echo this question, currently I'm thinking exporting to excel and copy/pasting there, then importing it all back in might be the best way?
Seems like a long winded way of doing it.

Hi riverer,
To transfer students to a new class, tap on the Tools Icon on top, and then Students.
Here select the students you'd like to transfer to your new class or classes and then 'Copy'.
After you have copied/transferred students to a new class
you'll be able to copy a selection of columns to this new class
and it will transfer its data as well.
Only those students that exist in both the 'source' and 'target' class
will have their grades transferred.
We're now about to release (this week) a major update for iDoceo, its version 3.0
and this 'transfer column' feature will be improved, copying resources and
annotations.
To copy several columns at once, tap on the Tools icon on the top bar, then Columns
and Copy . It will then ask for the target class.
The copy appends the transfered columns to the the current tab in the 'target' class
so you might want to create a specific tab holding last year's records.
