I am trying to use the camera feature with the annotations. After I take the picture, it keeps showing up blank. I see it when I capture it, but it enters the annotation blank. Am I missing a step or is this a glitch?

Hi jlux,
In order to be able to preview your pictures, you must enable iDoceo in your 'Location Services' settings. It is a system requirement, we do not use your location in any way!
To do so, tap on (System) 'Settings', 'Location Services' and look for iDoceo in the apps list, then enable it.
You'll find a detailed explanation about this matter here
If you still can't solve it, please let us know.

Thanks for contacting us.

Hi jlux,
Yes, I'm guessing you're on iOS6, try in (System) Settings / Privacy / Photos and iDoceo should be there in the list. Enable it and everything will work just fine.

This post solved my camera problem beginning with the photos that I have taken today. Thank you. Next question, is there any way to recover the photos taken before the Location Services was set correctly? They still appear as an empty square in the annotation window. I'm guessing that they may be lost, but if you have any hints to share, that would be great! Thanks again for a wonderful app!

Hi there Sutley,
Glad it worked somehow.
Photos taken without location services enabled should be stored anyway, as
this setting only affects the preview of this kind of resources (image&video), but not its storage.
In the current version , all photos are kept in the iPad's camera roll, you should give it a look with the Photos app to see if they are still there.
We're working on our next major update which will offer the possibility to store everything within the app , and Location services or camera roll will no longer be a problem.

Regards
