I absolutely LOVE using Idoceo; I have been able to learn the names and have so much details on 600 new pupils I teach in just 6 weeks thanks to this App. My Headteacher wants a paper copy of everything for a paper markbook. If I export a class CSV, the icons don't show up. If I export as PDF or use report generator, the PDF comes up onto 1 page and its just too small to view. The only solution seems to be to either buy a PDF editing package or email myself screenshots of my markbooks - this is a bit tedious and time-consuming.

Any advice please?

Hi SheriJ,
As you mention, there is no easy way in the current version to export all that info in a "page friendly" way. By definition CSV files won't allow any kind of icons, so it is the PDF export what needs some improvements.
We are working nonstop for a major update that will include additional options for the PDF reports (amongst many other things) and you'll be able to create the PDF you need, even with your own header&footer.
It will take some time but we'll post the expected release date as soon as we can in our website and at @idoceo

Thanks for contacting us.

Hi Bert,

Thanks for the reply; that's good to hear, thank you; this will make it so much easier with the big classes that I have than the current screenshot that I am doing. It's still worth the hassle though! I have just looked at the diary properly for the first time and am really pleased with it - I will now be doing away with a different app I have been using to do my lesson planning. I really like the way it exports a PDF on each class - very impressive for the inspections that I am expecting soon. This is of course why having the paper back up is so important for me.
Using IDOCEO and iPad has really changed my quality of life; before I was carrying big, heavy folders everywhere I went, back and forth between work and home. So thank you very much, the work you are doing is much appreciated.

Sherj.
