Rubrics in iDoceo Connect - privacy policy was created by Collier
Hello.
I have just discovered the iDoceo connect facility to use with rubrics and it looks fantastic! However, I set it up ready to use with students using the room PIN (so no personal log in details were needed from students). However, I notice that regardless of the mode of use, it states in the privacy notice that students should be 13 years or over. I was wondering if there is a reason for this please if students are not entering any personal information (except perhaps their name when they submit the assignment to me so I can identify it is their work)? I had hoped to use this as an assessment tool with 11-12 year olds - I'd rather use this if I can as it seems more end-user friendly than anything I've found to use on Google Classroom. Thanks for your help.

Hello Collier,
There is no particular reason for this other than some countries' legal requirements. iDoceo Connect does not keep any personal data and does not track its users in any way. It is perfectly safe to use at any age but some countries do require some form of written consent from their parents/legal guardians if under 13.
