Hello there,

This question came up after I spent some time reorganising my teaching materials.

Could the diary say something useful when nothing matches? At the moment I keep wondering if the search ran.

It would help me keep the workflow in one place instead of checking several screens.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Search guidance and empty-result messages are clearer in 9.6.0, including when there is no matching diary content.
