Hi Bert,
I am wondering if it is possible to be able to export a week on the planner to .xlsx then enter the planning notes on a PC, then import the .xlsx back into the planner? So I can type on the PC rather than the iPad.
Thank you

Hi mrunchey,
It isn't possible yet but the feature is in our roadmap. You can now export it to XLSX but it can't be imported back in.
Regards

Hi Bert,
When updating to one of the last few betas I think I saw the ability to import into planner. Am I wrong? Or if not, how do I do this?
thanks,
Michael

Hello Michael,
The option is meant for the class diary, which will reflect in the planner as well.
Open a class > Diary > Tools (top bar)
It is now available in the App store, no need for the Beta

I have updated to the newest version and am very excited about being able to import from PC to my lesson plan. Do I understand it right, though that I can only import one class at a time (eg my next ten lessons with your nine) but can’t import all lessons for tomorrow at the same time (with different classes) ?

Yes, that's it. It is focused on importing full plans for a single class.

It is quite useful, but I plan day by day not class by class, will there be an option in the future to import all lesson in a day at the same time?

agree - would be great to do either day by day or week by week.

I'm very happy with being able to import only to classes, but I can't find any documentation (apologies if I am being stupid). When I export, I seem to get a header, then an entry every third row with number and date.
I want to import a string of lessons every now and again. Should I export, fill in, and reimport, or can I import from a simpler format file?

Hello rfb,
The generated XLS file can be used as many times as you need. Just keep the header and the column structure.
Dates are not taken into account so you should only worry about filling the rows contents and importing when you want to.
